LOCATION
Renala Khurd is situated about 117km from Lahore and 10km from Okara city towards south-west of Lahore on national highway (G.T.Road) and on Lahore Karachi main railway line.It is a tehsil of  Okara district. This city was established in 1914 when Canal-Loar- Bari- Doo-Aab passed throuh this region. Before this that region was like a jungle. And in this region which is now called Renala Khurd,there was trees of MALAH..Because of it, its old name was Malah Walah.Now the population of Renala city is about 95000.Ghala Mandi Renala Khurd was established in 1940.Renala-Hydral-Power-Station was established by Ganga Raam in 1925.Renala State which has six villages, is famous for its horses, and horses of Renala state have won International race Durby many times.Renala Khurd is also famous due to Mitchells Fruit Farms, which is one of biggest fruit farms of world. Before few years ago Renala became tehsil of Okara district.Before partition there were retire army officers lived in Renala Khurd.Because of a peaceful place and because of  its beauty ,Renala Khurd has a great value in Okara district.Renala has also a great political history.

Renala Khurd is important Tehsil of Okara because it is situated on main GT road(Multan road).It is also important because there is a remont depot and miltry farm of army. It is more important because it has its own Railway station,Hyderal pOwer station,and there is also river ravi in Tehsil Renala.It has its own municipal committee  which is now Tehsil Council.It has its own marqeet committee. It has a popular Ghala Mandi of Punajab which is Aktrabad Ghala Mandi.There are more than seven schools in Renala city and more than 70 schools in Tehsil.There is also a degree college for women in Renala.There is a big church in Renala which is in Mitchells Gardens.

INDUSTRIES OF RENALA KHURD
Renala is a proper Tehsil of Okara.Its politically and industrically is a backbone of Okara district.Mitchells Fruit farm which is the bigest farm of world(www.mitchells.com.pk).Glaxo which is now Miltry farm has his own importance in army.Milk factory in sathghara.Hydral powerstation which is  one of more popular hydral stations of world and it is situated on Loar bari do aab.Milkpack factory in Renala.

POLITICAL IMPORTANCE
Politically Renala Khurd is the important part of country.Syed Sajad Haider who is now Zila Nazim of District Okara is also from city Renala Khurd.Syed Sajad Haider is the former minister of education.Shafqat Rabaira was also the former MNA of Renala Khurd.It has two MPA wards PP-156 and PP- 155.Ch Zia -ud- Din is ex- MPA of 156 and Malik Akram Bhati is the ex- MPA of  PP-155.

RAILWAY STATION
There is a railway station in Renala Khurd which is called Renala Railway Station.Renala is very lucky that it has its own Railway station .There r 8 railway gates in district Okara and three railway gaits  are in Renala Tehsil.
